The Syllabus od LL.B (Six semester) course is applicable in all Affiliated colleges. In Semester -II you will learn the following subjects:
1) Jurisprudence-II (Legal Concepts)
2) Constitutional Law of India- II (Structure and Working of the Indian Constitution)
3) Family Law- I ( Hindu Law)
4) Contract- II ( Specific Contract and Law of Partnership)
The total marks for the above is 500 ( 100 for each).

Section 1: CONTRACT- II (The course comprises of the following:
  • Contract of Indemnity, Contract of Guarantee, Bailment and Pledge.
  • Contract of Agency.
  • Deliniation of Sale, Essentials of contract of Sale and Agreement to Sale, Duties of sellers and Buyers, Sale by Sample, Sale by Description, Conditions and Warranties, Rule of Caveat Emptor.
  • Transfer of title, Passing of Property in Goods, Delivery of goods- Rules regarding Delivery of Goods, Unpaid Seller and his Rights, Remedies for the Breach of Contract.
  • Network of Partnership, Difference between Partnership and a Company, Mutual Relationship between Partners, Authority of Partner, Dissolution of Partnership, Minor as Partner.

Section 2: HINDU LAW (The course shall comprise of the following:
  • Sources of Hindu Law
  • Schools and Sub-schools of Hindu Law
  • Marriage: Essentials of a Valid Marriage, Void and Voidable Marriage.
  • Matrimonial Relief: Concepts and Grounds of various matrimonial relief viz.,
       a) Restitution of Conjugal Right
        b) Judicial Separation
        c) Nullity of Marriage
        d) Divorce
  • Legitimacy: Legal status of children born of void and voidable marriages.
  • Adoption
  • Hindu Minority and Guardianship Act, 1956.
  • Law of maintenance: Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956.

2) Union Executive: The president, his powers and positions including Ordinance making power.
3) Prime Minister and the Cabinet: Is the Prime Minister Real Head?
4) Distribution of Legislative Power between union and the States: Territorial and Topical Distribution of Powers, Power of Parliament to Legislate on state matters, Doctrine of Territorial Nexus, Doctrine of Pith and Substance and Doctrine of Colourable Legislation.
5) Emergency Provisions with special References to proclamation of emergency and president rule.
6) Union Judiciary: Supreme Court of India, Composition and Jurisdiction.

Sandeep Garg is an advocate at Allahabad High Court. He completed LL.M at Meerut College. He is Teaching LL.B with experience of more than 5 years. He has worked with Royal College of Law,Global College of Law Gaziabad and Madhav Vidhi Sikshan Santhan as a guest faculty. Currently working in Keshav Madhav at Greater Noida.
